Terms of Service
These Terms define the rules of using the JuiceGO powerbank rental service provided by L3ST Borys Skrzypek. By using the service you accept these Terms.
§1.Definitions
The following terms used in these Terms shall mean:
a) Operator – L3ST Borys Skrzypek, Tax ID 5482775586, based in Skoczów, Poland;
b) JuiceGO – the network of powerbank rental stations and the mobile app enabling their use;
c) Powerbank – a portable battery offered for temporary rental by the Operator;
d) Station – a device used to dispense and return Powerbanks;
e) User – an adult individual with full legal capacity who uses the service.
§2.Scope of service
The Operator provides short-term Powerbank rentals through a network of Stations and a dedicated mobile app.
The service is available at locations shown in the app, during the opening hours of the venues hosting the Stations.
A User may have at most 2 (two) Powerbanks rented at the same time. Renting another is possible after returning one of the active rentals.
§3.Conclusion of the agreement
A rental agreement is concluded the moment a Station QR code is scanned in the app and a Powerbank is physically released from the slot.
Using the service requires creating an account in the app, providing contact details, and adding a valid payment method.
§4.Fees and deposit
The first 5 minutes of each rental are free. After that, a rate of PLN 2 per started hour applies, with a maximum of PLN 20 per rental day. Current rates are always shown in the app before you confirm a rental and are binding at that point.
At the start of a rental the Operator takes a deposit equal to the maximum daily fee (PLN 20). The deposit is taken first from the balance in your in-app Wallet, and the remainder from your saved payment card.
For each additional started day of an active rental, the Operator takes a further daily deposit on the same basis (Wallet first, then card).
After the Powerbank is returned, the Operator calculates the actual time-based fee and refunds the deposit surplus: the card portion back to the card, the Wallet portion back to the Wallet. Card refunds usually arrive within 24–48 hours and may occasionally take longer, depending on your bank.
If the Powerbank is not returned within 72 hours, the rental converts into a sale (buy-out) of the Powerbank — see §5.
If a charge (a further daily deposit or a loss-of-equipment fee) fails due to insufficient funds or a declined card, the User's account is temporarily blocked until the arrears are settled, and a one-off handling fee of PLN 10 is added. The Operator may retry collection periodically until successful.
Funds held in the Wallet may be used solely to pay for JuiceGO services and are not redeemable for cash. Unused funds originating from card top-ups are refunded by the Operator on the User's request or upon account closure — back to the card used for the top-up, usually within 24–48 hours. To request this, contact support at kontakt@juicego.pl.
All prices are gross prices in Polish zloty.
§5.Returning the Powerbank and purchase
The Powerbank must be returned to any JuiceGO Station open within the host venue's hours.
The rental ends when the Powerbank is correctly placed in an empty slot and the end of rental is confirmed in the app.
The User is responsible for a proper return — if the app does not confirm the end of rental, please contact support without delay.
The sale (buy-out) price of the Powerbank is PLN 119. At any time during the rental the User may purchase the Powerbank in the app for this price — the rental then converts into a sale and the User keeps the Powerbank.
If the Powerbank is not returned within 72 hours of the rental start, the rental automatically converts into a sale of the Powerbank to the User for the sale price stated above, less the time-based rental fees already charged. For this sale the Operator collects the outstanding part of the price from the User's Wallet or saved card.
The sale price consists of two parts: (a) the fees for the rental time to date — constituting remuneration for a fully rendered service and, as such, non-refundable; and (b) the price of the Powerbank itself (the difference between the sale price and the fees referred to in (a)). This split is shown in the app in the rental summary.
Once paid, the Powerbank becomes the User's property and is not accepted back by the Stations — once placed in a slot, the Station automatically dispenses the same unit back. Returns are not handled in self-service mode.
A purchased Powerbank may be returned, but NOT via a Station (the Station does not accept a sold unit). A User who is a consumer may withdraw from the sale of the Powerbank within 14 days of the purchase date (i.e. the date the rental converted into a sale or of the voluntary buy-out) by submitting a declaration by e-mail to kontakt@juicego.pl. After submitting the declaration, the User sends back a working and complete Powerbank within 14 days; the direct cost of return shipping is borne by the User.
Upon effective withdrawal, only the price of the Powerbank itself ((b) above) is refundable. The rental-time fees ((a)) are not refundable, being remuneration for a rental service fully performed with the consumer's express consent (the right of withdrawal does not apply to that part). The Operator refunds the amount due via the same payment method within 14 days of receiving the working Powerbank.
§5a.Complaint and replacement conditions
A Powerbank is eligible for complaint or replacement if, at the moment of release, its charge level was below 30% (i.e. the Operator's minimum charge threshold — 40% — reduced by 10 percentage points), or if it was damaged in a way preventing use.
Stations are configured not to dispense Powerbanks below 40% charge — in the normal course of the service the condition above should not occur.
A complaint regarding charge level or operation must be reported promptly, no later than within 1 hour of release, via the app or kontakt@juicego.pl, quoting the rental number.
The above does not limit the consumer's statutory rights under warranty and consumer-protection law.
§6.Complaints
Complaints should be submitted to hello@juicego.pl or through the app, including the rental number and a description of the issue.
The Operator handles complaints within 14 business days of receipt.
Refunds, where due, are returned via the same payment method used for the original payment.
§7.Liability
The User is liable for damage to the rented Powerbank caused by their fault, in particular for mechanical damage, water damage, or loss of the device.
The Operator is not liable for indirect damage resulting from temporary unavailability of a Station, including the User's device running out of power.
§8.Right of withdrawal
Pursuant to Article 38(1) of the Polish Consumer Rights Act of 30 May 2014, the right of withdrawal does not apply to services that have been fully performed with the express consent of the consumer informed in advance that they would lose this right upon performance.
By accepting these Terms and releasing a Powerbank, the User consents to the immediate start of service.
§9.Out-of-court dispute resolution
Consumers may use out-of-court means of handling complaints and pursuing claims, including the European Commission Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform available at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/.
§10.Changes to the Terms
The Operator reserves the right to amend these Terms for important reasons, in particular changes in law or in the scope of services.
Users will be notified of changes 14 days in advance via the app or email. A User who does not accept the changes may terminate the agreement.
§11.Final provisions
In matters not regulated herein, Polish law applies, in particular the Civil Code and the Consumer Rights Act.
Disputes are resolved by the court competent for the consumer's place of residence.
